The story starts with a MacBook (A1181 Late 2006 EMC 2121). In late 2007, after I was admitted to a university in Xi'an, my father, from our humble family in the mountains, gave me this MacBook as a gift. My first encounter with MacBooks in a computer store left a deep impression on me. I had never seen such sleek laptops with cases much thinner than those of other computers. At that moment, I knew I wanted one. However, when I learned its price of $1,400, I was disheartened, as it was a huge sum for my family. But my father bought it for me out of love.
By chance, in 2010, after graduating, I was hired by a company in Shenzhen and worked as a salesman for MacBook parts. My passion for Macs grew stronger.
